About us

Founded in 2017 as Tailour Design, Loominous is an

apparel development agency to help fashion brands manage production.

We understand the struggles business and designers face when stepping into the world of fashion and apparels so we want to make this process easier. We believe every individual deserves an opportunity to express themselves creatively through their designs, without compromising their originality and independence with their own distinct brand and style.

We have assisted fashion brands and designers from the very start and we understand that production has always been a pain point for many small to medium businesses so we have made great efforts in building our apparel design and manufacturing capabilities so fashion brand owners can concentrate on connecting with your customers.

Our promise

At Loominous, we work dfferently from traditional apparel, garment manufacturers and that's where our strength lies. Every account manager assigned to your brand is a fashion designers by training, so they can advise and share their experiences with you, from designing, fabric selection to branding.

Most importantly, we are here to help you grow with minimal operational overheads by handling the backend work so you can focus on marketing and building your brand.

We have also built our company from the ground up with ethical and sustainability in mind and we understand the worries you have with regards to how your apparels are made so we are here to put your mind at ease.

We recognize garment production is still a very labour intensive industry and there's no escaping it for now, we have always been committed to do right from the very start and our promise to you are that in every process in our workflow, every single individual is well taken care of and well compensated in a safe working environment that they are comfortable in.

However there are always room for improvements and we are always working together with our partners for a better and more sustainable future.
Facilities and workers

Our seamstresses are the real drivers of our company and we understand their importance. Our sewing workforce and partners are paid well over the minimum wage monitored by the Vietnamese Government under Decree #90/2019/ND-CP for labour contracts with standard working hours and overtime pay along with a strict anti-discrimination policy and no child labour practices.

We spent a lot of time on the ground searching for factories that shares our view and every single one in our network has been vetted by staffs from both our Singapore and Vietnam office.
Fabric sources

There are a million variant of fabrics but only a small percentage that does it right and we have spent years sieving through them for you. Our fabrics are sourced regionally from Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Indonesia and China with either our sourcing partners or by us during our own sourcing trips.

We have a wide range of fabrics in our studio and depending on your budget and preference, our curated mills all have a minimum ISO9001 and for organic fabrics mills either or both - GOTS / Oeko-Tex Standard 100.
